On my quest to understanding how to work with your dog at a distance I discovered this video. She throws a treat at a distance to get the dog to work away from her. She doesn't have another individual to lure the dog away so she throws the treat. I tried this with Kota and it didn't work so well he because he was focusing on me and didn't want to be distracted. Which I guess you could say was a good thing.
