If an 11 week old puppy can learn to scratch just think of all the things I should be able to teach my much older dogs. I wonder if waiting to teach a dog something later can be more difficult because they have already learned to manipulate the humans. I have heard that it is easier to teach a dog to shape a behavior when you start out using that training method from the beginning. They learn to use their brain to guess what you want them to do that will be rewarded.
This video is really cute and while your at youtube check out some of the other videos as the dog grows and learns more tricks still at a very young age.
